Movie, sand and sea

„Anonymous” has gained during the passing years, the reputation of a kind of Stuff Stock festival. But „Anonymous” is not a music festival but an independent film festival. This good reputation is owed because of the special format in which it is presented every edition. The successful ingredients that catch among film lovers are: salt, breeze, sea and movies.  The festival takes place in Delta Dunarii at Sfantu Gheorghe. Also in 2009 the festival was opened with premiere of Pedro Almodovar’s latest movie: „Broken Embraces”.

Starting 2003, Romanians come home with sand in their pockets but with a lot of new international and national watched films. The 2009th edition had in its schedule numerous independent movies but also de début of some well known actors as directors (Helen Hunt, Jude Law, Joaquin Phoenix).

Other movies from different countries were watched at the 6th edition of the festival: „WRONG ROSARY” ,director,  Mahmut Fazil Coskun, Turkey, „TULPAN”,  director Sergei Dvortsevoy, Kazakhstan, „CEALALTA IRINA”,  director Andrei Gruzsniczki, Romania, ”TREELESS MOUNTAIN” , director So-Yong Kim, South Korea, „ A WEEK ALONE”, director Celinei Murga, Argentina, „ STELLA” , director Sylvie , France,  and  „ 199 TIPS TO BE HAPPY”, director Andrés Waissbluth, Chile.

During   day the movies are screened in the Green Village Complex’s cinema and during night are replayed in the camping. Starting the 2009 edition the prizes will be given exclusively by public choice.

The festival is structured in the section of long movies (7 movies), short movies, 24, and 18 animation shirt movies.  The most important prize of the festival is worth 3000 USD, followed by the short fiction movie, 1000 USD and short movie animation, 1000. Also the Ovidiu Bose Pastina prize, for short movies, is worth 1000 USD.

Since 2007, as a parallel program, it was initiated Eco Docs, which presents the most recent productions concerning global humanity problems. From 2009 the section dedicated to Romanian movies (short and long) is retaken.
