The great actor Florin Piersic (peach tree) was born on January 271936 in Cluj-Napoca. He debuted in the film “Ciulinii Bărăganului”. Throughout his career he played in over 40 films and the role of Mărgelatul consecrated him, bringing him a real success and admiration of the women. Florin Piersic sent to his viewers both joy and excitement of the theater as an actor and as host of his shows “Florin’s Peaches”. In 2005 he received the award for most popular actor at the awards gala “Ten for Romania”.

When I pronounce the name of Piersic, I feel an emotion and I am proud that I was born in the same country with him and I breathe the same Romanian air. In these moments of joy, I cry with tears of emotion which I try to include by dripping them on my immaculate handkerchief of soul, where the master of the actors has his place.

Florin Piersic is a living presence of our existence, a man who through talent and effort has put his mark on the Romanian film. In 2004, the actor has revolutionized the “talk-show” of the Romanian television by making the issue “Florin’s Peaches”. This amounted to an unpublished history of Romanian theater and film with unique archive sequences and having as guests great Romanian actors. In those moments, this great actor was joking about the title issue, saying that all his life he gathered peaches, has put them in a basket and that it is time to divide them to the public.

Our Mărgelatul steal us moments in a nice way, minutes and hours full of his stories, trying to make us better, more honest, more people. And through his millions of words he do not forget to slip a precept, making us stop for a moment from the hectic life to ponder.

From childhood I got his sweet voice as a peach deeply etched in my mind that it complements the imposing stature of a king if. This entire image is complemented by white muffler, carefully wrapped around the neck, the warm smile and wistful eyes.
